It’s 2021 and the Dirty Computer Emotion Picture is still amazing, beautiful, fantastic, intense, musically peerless, moving, all of it, I pulled it up kind of on a whim and I am feeling all the feelings still.

In the Pynk video, some of the dancers are not wearing the vagina pants explicitly because Janelle Monáe wanted to make the statement that you do not need to have a vagina to be a woman.

@zigg I *still* haven't watched that, and must remedy that soon. Gods know, I adore the album, showing off fantastic musical flexibility as broadly as A Kind of Magic once did, arguably even moreso.
