@gendercensus would you mind pinging us if you do any kind of analysis of the results here?

we're rather curious

@violet I can't really do that or I'd have too many people to keep track of! I think public analysis is quite unlikely, if that helps?

feedback stuff

@gendercensus The once-ber-body policy, and in particular the /reasoning/ for the policy, seems to be consistently treating us as "one person with multiple identities". Things like comparing us to a singular genderfluid person are /not/ okay.

feedback stuff

@gendercensus The entire point is that we're multiple people, independent, with our own identities, who just happen to share a body. Treating us as "one person with multiple genders" is saying not just that the rest of us simply don't exist, but that the rest of us are all part of one Overarching Person. There is no such thing.

feedback stuff

@gendercensus There's me, and there's my headmates, but my headmates aren't part of me in any way, shape or form. They're them.

feedback stuff

@IceWolf Cool thanks, this is interesting feedback and I appreciate it.

Unrelatedly, how come you didn't put it in the Google Form? (If it needs improving I wanna know!)

feedback stuff

@gendercensus We did put it in the Google Form, but this lets us have an actual conversation. :3

[Also we actively distrust Google so I really wish there'd been a different official way to give feedback. Filling out the form over Tor worked fine, but still.]

feedback stuff

@IceWolf I see! Thanks for the clarification. :D

@gendercensus
just wanna add that we super appreciate how hard you're working to understand and be inclusive of plurality :3

@gendercensus question: is there a guidance somewhere for the "Please describe your plural self/selves in your own words" question? I am not sure what kind of answers that is asking for - a description of the members of the respondent's system as they relate to the Gender Census?

@gendercensus Also thank you very much for putting in the effort to handle plural-specific issues well - it's appreciated and valued. 💚

- 🎒

@packbat Hmmm, I don't know enough to know how to answer that! I guess it's just to give me an idea of the various ways people are plural, how many of you there are in your body, how you feel about that, how/whether you interact, etc? Some people are being very brief (like just "person with DID") and some people are going into more detail and going off on tangents, and it's all good!
