Since my family was involved in the white-flight segregation of the Chicago area, this is a step in the right direction.
Just for clarification, while my family was never directly involved in the politics, they did materially benefit as homeowners from Chicago-area neighborhood redlining after WWII.

The short version is that Black people in northern US cities were systematically targeted by predatory housing practices, or had their homes devalued by the banking and insurance industries.
