England's most active junction quiet at night https://lgbt.io/media/7uuRBsv20nu6xUn_e8U
@bootblackCub Reminds me of many late nights coming home from London meets with certain online communities many years ago that I kind of miss. Also I hate Clapham Junction. Haaaate.
@dzuk @bootblackCub
Now I'm remembering late nights at … King's Cross?, coming back from SF meets at what we still called The Tun, though it hadn't been held there for years. (Wonder if that is still going?)
*Any* station late at night gives me the creeps…
@shadowfirebird @bootblackCub I prefer stations at night. I was more specifically meaning that I hate Clapham Junction during the day (although it is one of the dreariest stations I've been to and I've travelled through a considerable chunk of the UK by rail). I used to travel through it during rush hour on a regular basis at university and it suuucked.
@bootblackCub @shadowfirebird (travel through it as an interchange point, bleh)
@dzuk @shadowfirebird@a.weirder.eart i do find them creepy at night. its that sensation of being in a place your brain tells you should be busy but is now far too quiet.
@bootblackCub Quiet train stations at night are the fucking best <3
