call for stories/anecdotes/screenshots of positive coming out experiences, covid/parents mentions

Someone named Amy had a really sweet idea and posted this on a Facebook group we're in and said to steal her idea and copy it onto other platforms. We're not in a lot of corners so we may just give the stories back to her to distribute. Anyways:

"So... lately I've noticed that young people need a lot of uplifting these days. Tons of young adults are being incidentally outed to their parents because of covid forcing proximity. Sooo..I thought I'd do a little compiling of uplifting stuff."

"If you have a story/anecdote/screen cap of texts coming out to someone where it went ok or better, slide those in this [thread] or message them to me. I will double check they're anoymized and post them in the corners of the internet where young queers complain about their parents. Who want to spread the feels?"

(Seeing as fedi is one of those corners where young queers complain about their parents, we wonder how many will come back here but y'know we just thought this was cool nonetheless 💜💙)

@alanae My coming out went pretty well, but not in a way that makes for stories or anecdotes, I think? It’s all “I said I was trans and they said ‘huh?’ but they were basically fine with it”.
